Learning Contract
Topic: Academic Adjustment
Goal Statement: To prepare a presentation on the several minors that compliment Communications as a major so my students can understand the different fields of Communications they can focus on.
Activities/ Resources: Meet with my URI 101 instructor to discuss points that can be talked about.
Create a PowerPoint on several minors that can complement their major.
Inform them on how they can meet with their advisers at University College to discuss several minors that might interest them.
Create a handout of the minor requirement that can be provided to the students

Topic: Involvement
Goal Statement: To encourage my student to find an organization or club that interests them so they can feel more connected to the URI community
Activities/Resources I will email the students about going to the Student Involvement Fair on the 17th.
I will have the students make a flyer about an organization they are interested in and present it to the class
Since my students have to make a flyer about an organization I will make a sample flyer as an example.
Evidence: Make sample flyer for students.
Topic: Campus Resources
Goal Statement: To help my students understand the diversity within the URI Community.
Activities/Resources: Go on the MCC website and find out about all the multicultural organizations and events on campus.
Facilitate an activity that relates to diversity.
Evidence: Pictures of my students participating in activity.
Make a handout or PowerPoint that could be used to facilitate a discussion on diversity and our community here at URI.
